All of our instructors are CPR and first aid certified. Our school is a certified American Red Cross Training Provider and uses the American Red Cross’s learn to swim curriculum. In order to teach, instructors undergo a level by level training and spend time shadowing and teaching with experienced instructors.
Due to limited availability we do not guarantee specific instructors. All of our instructors teach the same curriculum and undergo rigorous training in order to give each student a consistent and quality lesson.
It is our desire to provide students with consistency. However, instructors and students have changing schedules. Therefore, students may not always have the same instructor. To help with this, all of our instructors teach the same curriculum and undergo rigorous training in order to give each student a consistent and quality lesson.
Each person is different and learns at their own pace. Learning to swim depends on numerous factors; level of fear, water comfort, how often you come and even coordination. However, since our lessons are perpetual, and not sessions, students are able to learn as quickly or as slowly as they need to; whatever pace is best for them.
We offer both 30 and 60 minute long lessons. This way students can select class lengths that they feel are best suited for them and their schedules.
When your child is ready for the next level, your instructor will let you know. Once that happens, you can speak with us on deck, email, or call us to find a time that works best for their new level. You are welcome to ask instructors about your child’s progress at any time.
Our ratio is 5 students to 1 instructor.
We will do our best to accommodate change requests, however changes will be granted based on class availability. If you would like a change, please send an email request to info@swemschool.com.
We require a 30 day written notice for all withdrawals. Please send an email request to info@swemschool.com.
One makeup lesson is allowed per month and must be completed within 30 days of missed lesson. If more than one class is missed in a month they will be forfeited and will not be eligible for a makeup. If you would like to schedule a makeup class please send an email request to info@swemschool.com.
We are unable to pause lessons, however you can unenroll at any time with a 30 day written notice by sending an email to info@swemschool.com. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold classes without payment so resuming classes will be based on class space and availability.
Registration with the The Swem School is subscription based and tuition is automatically debited on the 1st of each month. All class registrations are processed on our website at www.theswemschool.com. There is an annual registration fee of $49 per student due at the time of enrollment and is renewable annually. This fee is not refundable or transferable. We do not accept advance registrations. The class start date will be the first class after registration.

Youth Group
1 - 30 minute class per week = $79 per month
1 - 60 minute class per week = $138 per month
Up to a 15% sibling discount will apply
Months that have 5 weeks will incur a charge for the additional lesson
Adult Group
1 - 30 minute class per week = $99 per month
1 - 60 minute class per week = $178 per month
Months that have 5 weeks will incur a charge for the additional lesson
Private Lessons
1 - 30 minute class per week = $275 per month
1 - 60 minute class per week = $475 per month
Months that have 5 weeks will incur a charge for the additional lesson

Registration with The Swem School is subscription based and tuition is automatically debited on the 1st of each month unless we receive a written 30 day cancellation notice. Fees are charged regardless of class attendance. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, CREDITS OR TRANSFERS.
